OUTREACH AND INREACH

LOCAL OUTREACH

Local Outreach ministry is designed to be the hands and feet of the church by actively serving the communities we live in and showing the love of Jesus to our neighbors. Our desire to exhibit true biblical fellowship and community begins with us tangibly getting into our neighborhoods. Throughout the year, we will have the opportunity to serve in multiple locations and in various types of situations; some of which may include community events, helping people move, serving food, handing out water, repairing a fence, mowing a lawn, or just being a listening ear when someone is struggling. God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities. Let’s aim to use them to further His kingdom and serve our local communities. INREACH

What is InReach? It is a ministry designed to support and assist those within our own church body. Approximately 1,200 people come through our doors on a weekly basis and each is going through different seasons and circumstances in their private lives. InReach wants to be here to step in when unexpected or difficult situations arise. An illness or death in the family, a new baby, a sudden loss of employment, a needed ride to a doctor’s appointment, the addition of a child through adoption/foster care, or a single parent who has their hands too full…are just a few of the possible scenarios in which we want to help as we are capable. Helping could look like making and delivering a meal, providing child care for a few hours, driving to doctor appointments, performing small maintenance around the house, or anything else that would alleviate a burden during an already stressful time.
