Worship

At The Well Church our vision is to see thirsty souls restored, lives changed and a joyful people worshipping Christ. I long to see us grow as a people who grow in eager expectation to enjoy all that Jesus is for us today and the great hope we have in His return!

The Westminster Catechism says, “the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” As our enjoyment of God in Christ increases so does our satisfaction and rest in Him. This is the very reason we were created. In fact, we weren’t created “to worship” we were created “worshipping.” We are continuously worshipping. The question is…”What or who are we worshipping?” By God’s Spirit, through the person and work of Jesus Christ, we have been and are being restored to live lives that yield proper, God glorifying worship in all that we do and say.

Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
I hope the songs we sing together on Sunday can be instruments in God’s hands for His truth in His word to take deeper root in our hearts. Follow the playlist “This Sunday” to prepare your hearts for our worship gathering on Sunday. Follow the playlist “Songs We Sing” for a full catalog of songs we are singing during this season. Take these songs with you on your commute or for your work day. May the word of Christ dwell richly in you!
Please feel free to share these with your friends too!
