Prayer

At The Well, we desire prayer to be at the center of all that we do.  We believe all of life can and should be accomplished through prayer.  There is a difference between a church that prays and a praying church. We desire to be a praying church that does everything through prayer.

Paul E. Miller, author of A Praying Life defines prayer like this, “Prayer is the primary access to action of the Spirit of Jesus.”  To say it in another way…prayer is how we get in on what God is doing in and around us!  We have been invited by God to live our lives dependently and adventurously.  Prayer is God’s grace to us to do just that!

God says through the prophet Isaiah… “for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (Isa 56:7). We long to be a vibrant, praying community that earnestly seeks the presence of God to be enjoyed and treasured among ALL peoples.  Come and join us as we learn to be a reflexive praying community who runs to our heavenly Father first and fast in all of life.

Here are two ways you can come and experience a praying community at The Well:

Elder Led Prayer

At this prayer meeting, we have a brief time of teaching, a brief time of worship in song, and then …we pray!  We have seen God move during these times together.  Come and see what God might do next as we pray and seek Him!  Elder Led Prayer meetings are on the first Sunday of every month at the church at 5 pm! Join us!
